We have not had a price increase at Jagger Spun for over 5 years but unfortunately due to increasing costs at our dye houses and more significantly increasing raw material prices in the market we are going to have to increase our prices effective January 1st.
Just as a background, wool prices have been increasing steadily for the last 12 months. Here is a commodities graph tracking the increase https://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/wool
Wool we purchased in December has doubled in price before we even get it delivered creating a lot of uncertainty. It is likely that the tariffs and trade difficulties will have a further impact on the market before it settles down.

We have been trying to avoid an increase for as long as possible but the time has come. We will do everything we can to hold these prices steady for as long as possible and hope that the market settles down.
We will be accepting orders for on hand stock until close of business (5pm) Monday, December 17th. After that all orders will be shipping starting January 3rd at the new prices. We will be taking the rest of the week of the 17th to do inventory counts and update prices in the system and on our website.

To qualify for a Jagger Spun Account –
In order to qualify for a Jagger Spun account you must be a business within the fiber arts/textile industry. We do not allow/approve of sales through third party host storefronts such as Facebook, Etsy, Ebay and/or Amazon. Please note that we must have a copy of your Federal Tax ID, EIN or business registration certificate for us to be able to sell to you wholesale. If you are out of the USA, we will need a copy of your VAT/GST certificate. We are unable to process applications without a copy of your Federal Tax ID, EIN or business certificate. Providing the license number only is not sufficient. Please e-mail a copy to email@example.com when you fill out the wholesaler application. Incomplete applications will result in a delay in processing and subsequent deletion of the application. Applications do take 24-48 hours to process. You will receive an e-mail when the application is approved.
